Long Splayed Leg Mounting Cleats (24" to 36") – Handmade in Texas

These long hardwood cleats are perfect for mounting splayed or angled legs to larger furniture pieces like coffee tables, dining tables, consoles, and credenzas. They provide strong, stable mounting support while keeping that clean, mid-century look — no visible brackets or flimsy hardware.

Each cleat is handcrafted in my Texas shop from premium solid wood and features brass threaded inserts for secure, long-lasting leg attachment.

Specs & Details:

• Threaded Inserts: 5/16"-18 brass inserts (compatible with standard MCM-style leg bolts)
• Dimensions: Approx. 2 ¾” wide × 1 ½” tall × your selected length
• Mounting screws included
• Sold individually (Quantity of 1 = 1 cleat)

Choosing the Right Size:

• For coffee tables, cleats are typically 4" shorter than the table width
• For dining tables, cleats are typically 6" shorter than the table width
• Position cleats about 4–8" in from the edge, depending on table height and style
